Municipality of Indang, Cavite - The Public Employment and Service Office (PESO) in Indang, through its Job fair that brought employment opportunities to jobseekers in this town last Friday, August 31, 2018 held at the New Municipal Hall of Indang. Where the said program was sponsored by the Municipal Government of Indang headed by Municipal Mayor Pecto V. Fidel, Municipal Vice Mayor Sammy Dm Rodil and the Sangguniang Bayan members of Indang. the said  program were attended by almost thousands of applicants from the municipality of Indang and its neighboring areas. Where the job fair  was participated by twenty five (25) local companies and eleven (11) International Companies. But, TESDA is a leading pillar when it comes to skills training program.

BIG CHUNK OF STONE COLLAPSED IN INDANG, CAVITE

The picture shown  a huge slab of a rock collapsed in Indang - Alfonso Road last August 12, 2018 which caused a hassle for some motorists from which authorities and residents had been helping to remove the rock slab. The incident occurred at the height of Habagat, which occurred after a few days of rain. Now a days the weather is alarming every time the rainy seasons starts that it was not so long ago, that the rainy season was just only a natural rainy season. But today rainy seasons was carried by destructive wind, and heavy rain that sometimes resulting in sudden flooding. Our country has one of the most beautiful climates in the world and known as the tropical country, that which after decades it has been affected by the so-called climate change in which the climate is out of place at its right time. The summer may happen to be rainy season and the rainy season may occur in the summer. With climate change it is inevitable that even the lives of people are affected, even the world is also experiencing a change, transforming itself as a deluge and catastrophe.

City of Bacoor, Cavite - A new historical discovery took place in Bacoor City which resulted in a change in the history of the City. That's where a book was formed after five (5) years of research so that the hidden and discovered events were clear with some indications that the Bacoor Assembly took place a hundred and twenty years ago. Last August 6, 2018, The Bacoor City Government launched a book entitled "Proclamation of Philippine Independence, The Truth About August 1, 1898 (The Bacoor Assembly) together with the short film documentation which led by Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla, Dr. Emmanuel Franco Calairo The Author of the Bacoor Assembly Book, Dr. Jose Diaz of Bacoor Historical Society, Mr. Edwin Guinto City of Bacoor Tourism Officer and Mr. Jose Napoleon Cuenca Head Bacoor Tourism Council.

Barzaga, Congresswoman Trina Envirga, Dasmarinas City Officials led by City Mayor Elpidio Barzaga Jr., Vice Mayor Rex Mangubat and City Councilors, NGO’s and other guests who participated the event.

WHO IS SANTA CLAUS? IS HE REAL OR MYTH?

Santa Claus, commonly associated with Christmas, is usually described as a large, greedy and cheerful man wearing red dress decorated with white décor. According to an American version and based to the legend, Santa Claus was short, lived in the North Pole with his wife, Mrs. Klaus , living with some dwarfs who make toys, and reindeer pulling his trunk or sled. While in the version or legend of Nordic, Santa Claus is known as Father Christmas or and it is said that the Claus couple live in Lapland, Finland. He also deals with bringing gifts to small children every Christmas by sliding in chimneys, and there are also reindeer pulling his sledge. The tradition originally came from Finland (Nordic countries) and spread to the world. It is believed that Santa Claus was created from the Dutch Sinterklaas celebrated on the eve of San Nicolas (December 5) in Netherlands. During the Christianization of Hermanic Europe, the Sinterklaas character may have related to one god called Odin which also associated with the pagan god celebrated every Yule and who led a Wild Hunt as a procession to demonize the heavens.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR LAGUNA PUBLISHERS

The association of SAMAHAN NG MGA PUBLISISTA SA LAGUNA INC. successfully held its Christmas Party led by their president Mr. Toribio Crisostomo and Vice President Mr. Celso C. Lidot last December 22, 2017 at a private resort in San Pablo City, Province of Laguna held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm which was attended by more than 50 members and guests. Although the program is simple, it is also fun because of the traditional exchange gifts, raffles and food festival with the youthful parlor games.
